Records and standing
Records lists your best at each standard Concept2 benchmark, one machine at a time. A benchmark you have not rowed still has a row, with a dash.
The benchmarks
The list is Concept2's own event list for the machine.
- RowErg, Dynamic and Slides. Distances: 100m, 500m, 1,000m, 2,000m, 5,000m, 6,000m, 10,000m, half marathon and marathon. Times: 1:00, 4:00, 30:00 Free, 60:00 and 30r20.
- SkiErg. The same distances. Times: 1:00, 4:00, 30:00 and 60:00.
- BikeErg. Distances: 200m, 500m, 1,000m, 4,000m, 10,000m, 20,000m, 40,000m and 100,000m. Times: 1:00, 30:00 and 60:00.
Dynamic and Slides keep their own records, apart from the RowErg. A piece with no known machine counts toward nothing.
What counts
- A distance benchmark takes single-distance pieces within 1% of the distance. It is scored by time.
- A time benchmark takes single-time pieces within 1% of the time. It is scored by distance.
- Intervals never count. A 4 × 500m is not a 2,000m.
On the rowing machines, 30:00 splits in two. 30r20 is a 30:00 piece at an average rate between 19.5 and 20.5 spm. 30:00 Free is every other 30:00 piece. A 30r20 never counts as a 30:00 Free.
The periods
- This season: Concept2's season, 1 May to 30 April.
- This year: the calendar year.
- All time: your whole history.
Each row shows your best in the period. The PR chip marks a period best that is also your all-time best. A benchmark you have not rowed in the period shows a dash. Tap a row to open that benchmark's page.
Standing
With Include me in rankings on, a row can carry a standing: top 18% means you are ahead of
82% of the pool. The pool is other Ergon rowers who opted in and rowed that event in the same
period, filtered by the facets you chose.
A standing shows only when that pool holds at least 30 rowers. Below that, the row shows no standing rather than a number built on a handful of rowers. The meta line names a pool size and the facets in use.
The community ranking article covers who is in the pool, the facets, and what stays private.
Honest limits
- Records read what is synced. A piece missing from your Concept2 logbook or your PM5 captures is missing here.
- Only set pieces count. A Just Row that passes 2,000m is not a 2,000m attempt. Set the distance or time on the monitor.
- Standing is Ergon's pool, not the world. It ranks you among Ergon rowers who opted in, not the Concept2 rankings.
