Totals
Totals adds up your training over a window: meters, time, calories or sessions. Nothing is weighted or estimated. These are the sums of what you rowed.
The machine
Totals reads one machine at a time when you train on more than one. It opens on the first of yours in the order RowErg, SkiErg, BikeErg. Switch machine from the page's machine control. With one machine, there is nothing to switch.
The measure
- Distance: meters.
- Time: time, as the monitor recorded it.
- Calories: calories, as the monitor recorded them.
- Sessions: workouts.
Days follow your own timezone, so a late-evening piece lands on the day you rowed it.
The window
| Window | Weeks | Table rows |
|---|---|---|
| 6 weeks | 6 | Weeks |
| 3 months | 13 | Months |
| 6 months | 26 | Months |
| 1 year | 52 | Months |
| All | Whole history | Years |
Every window but All ends with this week and starts on a Monday. Each bar is one week. This week is marked in progress.
All picks the finest bar that keeps the chart to 60 bars or fewer: weeks, then months, then quarters, then years.
The readings
- The total: the sum over the window.
- Sessions and time: the window's, whatever measure is on the chart.
- A week: the total divided by the number of bars, empty weeks and this week included. Under All it is per bar, so it can read a month or a year.
- Vs prior: the change against the same number of weeks right before the window. A 6-week window is compared with the 6 weeks before it. All has nothing before it, so it reads a dash.
The table
Each row is one week, month or year, newest first. Its vs prior compares it with the period
before. The current period and a period the window cuts in half read a dash. A part of a period
has no fair change to show. So does a period that follows an empty one.
Honest limits
- Calories are the monitor's. They come from the monitor's formula, not from heart rate.
- A volume figure is not a load figure. An easy hour and a hard hour add the same time. For how hard the work was, see training load.
